First, not the answer you want to hear. The easy way would be to buy the game from GOG. When they have it on sale (frequently) you should be able to get it foraround $3- USD or less. GOG remove DRM,and do any other fixes the game may have required to run on Win7 10.Games that run in DOS are also installed with DOS BOX automatically, saving the trouble of learning to use DOS BOX.- Dungeon Keeper 2 is one of many games that use SafeDisk copy protection.

MS started blocking the driver used bySafeDisk (the secdrv.sys file you see on the disk ) when they released Win10. This 'feature' prevents the game from loading.I have more details about this and a couple other DRM issues in my post atYou will need to use a noCD fix/hack to run disk based versions of all but a few games that uses SafeDisk.- The only fix for this game in English is for the UK release. It may or may not work with a USA release? You will also need to patch the game to the same version as the fix.EDIT: Missed that you were able to install the game. Removed part about 16bit installer - The game was released in '99, which puts it in the problematic age group for disk based PC games (even without DRM Blocking. You should be able to find fixes for issues such as colour, audio or resolution the game may have, buy visiting dedicatedDungeon Keeper sites/forums.- You may also find you need to run the game using Compatibility for Windows 95/98.
Dungeon Keeper 2 introduces deliciously wicked new traps and original rooms, inhabited by a bestiary of creatures with unique talents and devastating spells. Review There's something immediately unsettling whenever Bullfrog turns out sequels.
